Symbolising everlasting love and constancy these sterling silver bluebell earrings are magical. Coupled with a vibrant water sapphire gemstone (also known as Iolite) they are an eternal reminder of the beauty of spring.

These little bluebell charms have a very special story and started off as an experiment.

During bluebell season a couple of years ago I painted a real bluebell with layers of silver clay paste. I gradually built up the layers until I was sure that I had a nice thick layer of silver on the flower (which had started to dry and curl up) which I then fired in my kiln. On firing the flower burnt away leaving me with this wonderful replica of the original flower. I then had a mould made from my fine silver master and now cast these beautiful little flowers in sterling silver for everyone to enjoy.

Dimensions: the charms are approx. 1.2cm long (including the jump rings) x 1.3cm wide (at their widest points). The gemstones measure approximately 0.5cm in diameter.
